Analytics insights: Understand What Works

Learn why conversion optimizations worked, compare project and community-wide learnings, and identify what to repeat with Learning Insights.

What are Learning Insights?

Learning Insights are automatically captured findings from your optimizations. Every time a measure was successful, the pattern is saved and suggested as a recommendation in similar situations.

What's the difference between project and community learnings?

Project learnings are specific to your account and based on your own data. Community learnings are anonymized patterns that have been confirmed by at least 10 different accounts with a high success rate.

How is my data anonymized?

BigHoot uses K-anonymization. A pattern is only released to the community when it has been confirmed by at least 10 independent accounts with > 70% success rate. No individual data is ever shared.

Are community learnings available in all plans?

Project learnings are included in all plans. Community patterns and advanced analytics are available from the Growth plan onwards.

How dBigHoot know if a change has actually made a difference?

Before implementation, the baseline value for the relevant metric is recorded. BigHoot then compares the same time period type and marks the result as a success only if there is sufficient data to do so.

Can other accounts see my learnings?

No. Learnings remain in your account and your projects. There is no sharing of content, pages, or metrics between customers.
